Hi Pigpen.

I just picked up a F1L 208F myself. I know NOTHING about this or any other diesel, but its time to learn I guess. I cannot find any info on the 208F. I did find a manual for 208D models.

HOw similar is the 208F and 208D??? whats the same? whats not?

I'm thinking what I could use this engine for .....no clue as of yet. I also need to learn the priming / start up and shut down routine. My engine has never been fueled....its old old stock!

Any help would be appreciated! thanks

There are several videos of these engines on youtube that you might find helpful.
