Talking Ospramo Orchard Sprayer By Field Force Pump Company.

I have purchased an all original, Complete Spray Rig from a great guy in ohio. I have brought her back home. Near Elmira NY were this was made. This unit is great it will be a sand and paint winter project. This ospramo is perfect. It has a leader engine on it with the FPP co. Pump. I have a question anyone have any good ideas for sealing the inside of the wooden tank. I am sure all the old fruit spray residue will never come out of that wood. It smells really acidic. Any ideas?

That sure is a nice outfit. They don't come much better. I would have bought it if I had the room to store it. It was only about 4 miles from me. Michael

There are flushing products made to nuetralize agri-spray chemicals. Go online and look up OESCO (Orchard Equipment Supply Co). The same stuff also reduces corrosion in the steel piping, pumps tanks Etc.
Ask for Russ and describe your sprayer and tank and he will have the answer.
My bet is the amount you will need will cost more for shipping than the product itself.

Johns idea for contacting OESCO sounds like the way to go to flush your tank. Wood tanks like wine and whiskey barrels need to have liquids in them to remain tight (leak proof). Wood expands and shrinks with changes in moisture and temp. so sealing the insides is not practicable or recommended.
