Thanks JohnnyC!! I will try to do a look over and fix the wiring issues this week. If I can get things sorted out on the generator, then when the parts arrive I can work on the fuel system, both gasoline and gaseous sides. Might even have it ready for a test this coming weekend.
I did get new battery cables put on yesterday. Both old cables had the garbage clamp on ends. I will have to take a picture of the old positive cable where it went through the control box, very scary!!

Here is the old positive cable. This is how it was where it went through the box. You can see the new cable under it hooked up.

My + battery cable was exactly the same as yours. It was missing about an inch of insulation and if the rubber grommet in the control box should fail, there would be a serious firework display.

Good news - The fuel bowl was sent out this morning to you from the post office. You should receive it by 8 pm Friday. I sent you the tracking number and details by private message.

I was hopping all my intake parts would be here by the weekend. The carb kit won't be here for a week. Not sure when the propane kit is showing up.
Oh well. That just means this weekend will be wiring and exhaust work. Also clean and gap points, make a point cover, new plug, check the timing and clean up the inside of the generator.

I tore off the sheet metal last night to get a look at the generator itself. The coil wires, + & -, are both chaffed and have bare wire exposed. The capacitor on the coil looks rough. All in all, not too awful bad. The biggest issue now is that someone used a torch to cut out the exhaust pipe from the first elbo coming out of the cylinder. This 1" street elbo is going to need replaced. Anyone have any good tricks to get it out of the block? I am thinking of heating it up good and hot the just trying to turn it out. If that doesn't work, maybe very carefully make a few relief cuts in the threads and take a punch and try to drive them toward the center. Thoughts??

WAHOO!! The special delivery from JohnnyC showed up today!! It looks brand new! Wow!! Thanks JohnnyC!! To make it even better, the carb rebuild kit showed up today as well. I can get the gasoline side done this weekend then just have to do the propane stuff when those parts show up.
