Ah the Yamaha Phazer............Memories of riding that around when i was younger. My dad still has one but needs work. May restore it if I feel the need for a project.

He has moved up to 2006 Arctic Cat T660 Turbo.
That sled scares me...........Especially when that Turbo hits and the boost comes on.

It was about 8*f or -13*c. Not bad if you're dressed for it! I have a parts Phazer also. I need a crankshaft to complete it. Someday make another ok sled. Maybe sell them both and upgrade. It not bad but nothing like the newer machines! They're nuts!!!

Probably do some parts cleaning this evening on the Onan.

Ok been slacking last little while. Felt a little ill for a couple days but back at her now... got my lathe working also today and stripped the control box base just now. In primer, green porn incoming. Gotta bust on this next couple weeks before I return to work. Package from John Newman Jr. incoming also, a cylinder head and coil box which I was missing! Now that the lathe is going plan it to copy's rad cap, which I am also missing.

Started stripping the rad and housing. Might have to remove the core or take the time sand and mask paint as they're different colours. I
May go that way, as I'm. It sure I want to distur the core.

Edit: great grandpa must have painted this with whatever he has on hand, I've got blue, gold and silver so far, then my dad painted it 8N grey and red lol

Another part green

Can't wait to get the rad pruned and painted, set her in place. Really make the unit look complete

Just think for a moment - Without all those layers of different color paints that you removed your generator should be 100 lbs lighter.
