Okay, job done! I removed the fuel bowl filter assembly. It stunk like 30 year old gas and smelled up my garage worst than me after eating a bean burrito. I had to clean it since there would be no way to mail it to you and the glass bowl was stuck and had to be soaked in a solvent in order to separate the bowl from the filter housing. Since I went that far, I rebuilt it. It is like new now. PM me your mailing address. I will get a box at work tomorrow and send it off to you on Tuesday. If you can wait until after next weekend, I can paint it for you too.

Now I will be removing the parts I need for my LK. I feel like a desert buzzard picking away at road-kill.

I knew it! The Onan Gods are pissed at me for sacrificing the AK.... After I picked off the fuel filter assembly for Handyhiker1's LK, I went back to pick parts from the AK for the my LK. While removing the AK's power outlet box, the AK slipped off the furniture dolly it was resting on and onto two of my finger tips. One got cut and the other bruised under the base of the nail. Both fingers are stinging and not letting up after 30 minutes. The bleeding stopped, but without doubt I will loose 2 of my fingernails. The tips are not broken since I can bend them, but with lots of stinging pain. I would say the two finger tips got the full weight of the AK after it fell 5 or 6 inches off the dolly. It kind of felt like dropping an anvil 5 or 6 inches onto your finger tips. I am done for the day .

This may be a dumb question but I am not familiar with gaseous fuels. Never had a generator run on it. What type of control valve is needed since the carburetor does not have a flow adjustment needle valve? Also is there a small on demand regulator needed for this small of a generator?
Any info would be appreciated. I am really thinking that I would like to run this one on propane just not real sure on the set up.

I did a little research and have the entire set up on its way. Should have it in a couple of days. I will post a few pics when I get it all.

Took a quick look at the carburetor today. I for sure am going to need a bowl gasket, needle valve and seat. It looks like the needle has been changed and now it doesn't shut off the fuel so the bowl overflows.
The good news, kind of, my other LK uses the same carburetor just not the tri fuel version. I am sure between the two of them I can restore the tri fuel then find parts or a carburator for the vacuflow unit.

Here is a couple of pictures of the gas adjustment valve and piping that came on my tri-fuel LK. Obviously the pictures were taken before any cleaning happened.

It was a good night. Just ordered all the parts needed for the carburetor rebuild. I will rebuild the tri fuel carburetor and install the propane kit when it all showes up. Now just have to find an air cleaner.
