Quite a saga Nev, my question would be what does that very fine looking brass mixer that is on it come from? Do you think it was a marine conversion or given the age could someone have been messing about with a light car, garden tractor etc.? If a marine conversion one would expect to see some sort of brackets to allow it to be mounted to a typical engine bed.
