Default Golf guy from Jersey

I am a semi retired golf course superintendent who has also been a hands on mechanic for many years. I remember when string trimmers were scythes and backpack blowers were corn brooms. Chains and belts ran all the equipment too! I am into golf maintenance equipment. When "Weedy the weed eater" came along I was young and strong enough to use it for more than an hour. I hope someone has a photo of Weedy. I am happy to have found this site.I look forward to participating if I can help.

Welcome Doug ,

I remember my family had a fleet of push reel mowers,, used push them down the hill full speed , glad I never fell on one ... wish I had them now to sell as ECO friendly mowers .. approved by Al Gore ....
