Default Wisconsin AB camshaft removal

Wisconsin newbie, how do I remove the camshaft? It appears that you just drive it out via the cap ends. Any certain direction it needs to come out. The breakdowns don't help much.

There is a welch plug on either end of the camshaft. You will need to sacrifice them with a nail-awl for removal. Then you can press the camshaft pin out. You can order new welch plugs from Tim Stine.
