Default Vh4d

Hey guys new here. I have a vh4d on a spray rig running a compressor. The amp guage says it is putting out 30amps is that ok? Will my battery beable to handle that? After minutes shouldn't it regulate down?

It sounds like either the regulator is stuck on full charge, or you have a bad ammeter. Try a different ammeter on it to test that theory, and taske a look inside the regulator for anything stuck together.
