Thanks! I still have to get it painted and put the tags on, probably this spring. For the JC guys, here's some run data off the meters at 12 KW: Exhaust air runs 140 to 180 depending on OAT. Cylinder head temps will go 240 to 300(this is with the sensor on a head bolt) depending OAT, Vacuum is at 8" (at Dallas,TX elevation), Gas pressure is at 11" at idle and drops to 8 under load(fed by a 2psi system with a regulator at the JC dropping it to 7-11"), Oil temperature-takes 3 hours to get it to 180F (full synthetic), oil pressure 35 on the Onan gauge, 25 on the electric, EGT 1150 to 1200F leaned out, A/F ratio-17.2 is supposed to be ideal for NG engines, I'm at 15.3 for best vacuum and best EGT. I keep 1/4 amp + rate on the charge meter.

4.0CCK-3CR/8100R, G750960019 - Load test a week or so ago. NG, electronic ignition, electronic governor, tri-fuel carburetor. Picks up the load reasonably well. Does any one know approximate exhaust manifold temperatures? I have about 100*F difference between the two cylinders.

Worked a bit on my 12.5 KW project. Mounted Air cleaner. Discovered that OEM coolant recovery tank won't fit. Does anybody know if size is critical or mounting height?

Question Re: What Have You Done to Your Onan Generator Today?

Not an onan... but the right shade of green.. picked up two lister ts2 8.5 kw 120 240v 1800 rpm gennys.. had to pull one out of the light tower.. other one I dragged home after splurging for new tires.. has been sitting about 15 years.. they stated and ran fine when they were donated to use on.there soccer field.. but.people complained about the diesel smell so they just used the lights plugged in to city power.. one has 789 hours and the one in the truck has 677 hours

Story is these were from a peach and Walnut farm in Palm Springs.. and donated to the church is bought them from.. 400 for both. 135 miles each way..

Should be a fun project.. plan on keeping one and may sell the light tower unit if both are easily made to run.. but after sitting 10 plus years well see.. still has diesel in the fuel filter so hopefully the injectors are not stuck..
