Default Another Unknown Marine?

Here's another one fellas, it's got an enclosed flywheel. I think someone told Grandpa it was a St. Lawrence once but I'm not sure if there was any reasoning for that one.
Once again, thanks for all the help!!

Can't help with an I.D., Jonathan. Though, I would say definitely not like any St. Lawrence we've seen.

Try the old marine site. There are a couple of guys with a huge inventory of early marine literature that may be able to help with identification.

Oh my aching neck...

Quite an early engine, possibly a one-off from the way the crankcase covers are bolted and the overall odd look of it.

Flywheel in the crankcase, reminds me of the early Daimler engines a bit.

Jonathan, the cover photo engine from Gas Power magazine has some similarities to your unknown. Still not exactly the same.
