I had a look at the sale lineup two weeks ago. It will be a good sale. My purpose was to look at one of the engines NOT up for sale (there are some not going under the hammer) which was of particular interest to me as it is a previously unrecorded example.

A few pics of engines we purchased at the auction, Ron won two IHC engines, I won a Clutterbuck 10hp, 7hp Waterloo Boy portable and a Mitchell? transport I can use with a Lister on board? the auction seemed reasonably well run and had a crane and forklift on site that made for easy loading after the auction, little engine in reply 5 was said to be a National Pulley & Manufacturing Co engine of Chicago Illinois?.

The 7.5hp 05 style $11,000 the 6.5hp Hornsby Ackroyd $12,500. I didn't look closely but they looked fairly complete. Plus 5.5% buyers permium

Akroyd was missing the platform and starting lamp that extends from the rails, exhaust transfer pipe, oilers, skid brake and chain, one hub cap, water clean out covers from the hot bulb and a number of small fittings, serial number I think? was in the mid 8000's, the 7.5hp 05 engine was missing the plunger assembly from the starting lamp, stove box door, skid brake, one oiler and the glass from the other and a few small fittings, wasn't really paying attention on the prices, think the 8hp Blackstone portable made around 11k and the Dudbridge only made 4k, as with other recent auctions the larger portable engines in original condition were the more sort after.
