Default Kohler Light Plant 2 KW, 110 VDC, Model KH needs regulator

I have a Kohler Light Plant Generator 2 KW, 110 VDC, Model KH on eBay, but it has not sold. It's missing the regulator, any ideas where I can get one? It's working, but no one is bidding, maybe because of the missing regulator.

Thanks, Wayne

I think the opening bid may be too high for a machine that's in such rough shape and is missing parts, but the fact that it does run and generate is a plus for sure. Being DC appeals to a smaller crowd than an AC one would.

What's missing isn't a regulator, but rather the automatic switch which enables load-sensing automatic starting and stopping. Those generators are compound wound, and thus are inherently self regulating with varying load.

To use it as it is you only need a shunt field resistor to set the output voltage to that which is desired. To make it electric start, just add a couple of batteries, a heavy switch, and a battery charging resistance, more or less.

If it was closer to me and, say $100 ~ $150, I'd still be interested. But I'm hundreds of miles away lol.
