Default Galloway Tank Bracket

I am restoring a Galloway 5 H.P. round rod with a full base. How was the gas tank mounted on these? Was it the same as the masterpiece series, a casting bolted on to the base? Also the dimensions of the tank.
Thanks Harry

I haven't seen a roundrod with a gas tank mount like on the later ones. It's not pictured in my literature as having one either. When the engine was mounted on a cart it was set on a board mount on the cart behind the engine. I don't have the dimensions of that size tank, maybe someone that has one will measure theirs for you.
