Question Avery Undermount Rocker Grates?

Mark, at the shop, wound up with these grates.
For all anyone knows they could be new......only a little fuzzy from lying on the ground in a shed.
We know this former customer owned an undermount but, like so many others, got scrapped during WWII...….
At any rate if someone has use for them please contact me via PM.

They kinda look like Geiser-Peerless rocker grates.

Beth thinks they resemble Port grates too so...… ……..but the farm they came from was where the undermount was used.

Well.....
You didn't give us any dimensions, or a legible casting number.......
And an undermount Avery previously being on the farm is just hearsay.... no mention of what size Avery btw...

I think we're doing pretty good considering.........

REEVES! Here is the pattern for the rocker grates in the 32.

Any idea how many companies shared the same grate pattern versus making their own?

I'm thinking that the rocking grates were a vendor patented appliance. Many builders used them and paid a royalty?

The grates above look like the Avery rockers I have seen. Beth's Reeves rockers will work in an Advance Rumely quite nicely. I made a pattern for Dennis Christiansen's many years ago, copying it from one of Norman Grob's grates. Made a hanger pattern as well.
