Dave organized a job to remove three big Fairbanks Morris Diesel generators from a closed plant in Long Lake NY. After a lot of disassembly (Removing the exciter, alternator, and Flywheel and more) we found that we would need a jack hammer to remove the caulking. The crew consisted of a number of us grown men who were old enough to realize that using a jack hammer was not fun, and one 15 or 16 year old boy. The boy had been brought by his father and was on his own. The kid stepped up and volunteered to run the jack hammer. About 3 hrs later the job was done and we all went to dinner. The boy was asking the waitress about prices. "OK how much is a plane hamburger, no cheese."

Dave spoke up. KID, You like Steak? Ah, yes. Waitress, bring him two steak dinners. Kid, tell the lady how you want them cooked. and back to his conversation with someone else.
