Question Pickering Governor

hello i am new here and was wondering if anybody has a spare pickering gov or knows were i can get one

Christian, if you are going to put it on a steam engine then the size matters alot. I may have an extra Pickering on hand if it will work you.

i was going to belt it up to my H&M Economy gas engine i have always liked to watch the pickering gov they are NEAT

if you just wanna watch it go round check ebay. they always have parts of governors on the, mostly off of seperators.

Hi Chris,

Besides the idea I discussed in our email, I found this in my barn loft (forgot I had it). it is an 8 or 10 inch Pickering. Would require some creativity to get it from coast to coast or a pain but could be shipped. This is 2 1/2 foot tall, even without a valve body. Its a Pickering and would be an impressive display setup on a wood base. To appreciate the proportions of this beast, the other large Pickering I showed you was only a 6 inch. These inches being the diameter of steam line.

More food for thought.
