Default 1916 Fairbanks Morse 3HP

Here is our 3HP Morse, running for the first time after sitting for a long time. The engine was stuck when we got it, and was broke loose after applying a little heat and a 50/50 mix of ATF and Acetone. Because the spark plug insert that replaced the ignitor was welded onto the block, we left it in and have since added a FM J Magneto in place of the timer.

Thanks for posting that video. I've got one just like it I'm getting ready to start on. Yours runs great! What are you running that on? It looks like pineapple juice in the bottle... LOL!!

Apparently there was a bit of loose rust in the mixer bowl still, which when combined with "environmentally safe" California fuel makes a liquid with both the color and volatility of pineapple juice :-)

That's what I figured! But it still runs. That one would be a keeper!
