Default Newer Model coil on older model 92?

Will a coil off of a late 30's model 92 engine work on a late 20's model 92 engine?

Also, are all the coils on these engines made by Bosch?

The 92 type held the record for the longest production run of an internal combustion engine, without a major design change. All parts will interchange between them! The only changes were the size and design of the fuel tanks and starter pedals! As long as you kept them in the proper fuel/oil mix, they practically ran forever!. it usually doesn't take much to get them running!
