Default Historic BHP Tests

Hi guys,

All this talk about high HP figures, high economy, etc. got me thinking. I also played a bit with the Winnipeg trials #'s. Very interesting.

I'm recalculating them for HP per hour per fuel, and HP per hour per gal. water. I'm hoping for some #'s that are comparable the Nebraska tractor tests. I'm likely going to expand them to include #'s for towing - where fuel, water, and pulling load is available. I'm (personally) not interested in a dyno test without fuel and water consumption, but I will include them.

So....what I'm asking for is, please post (or email to rbryce@xplornet.com) #'s. I'm looking for more than one tractor on the test, so we can hopefully use standard statistics and plot and normalize out errors in print, tractors which were poorly tuned, dyno tuning discrepancies, etc. And maybe get an idea of what a "representative" tractor of specific brand and size could do.

I WILL share the results on the board so we can banter around that rather than discussing legends handed down from engineers past.

Thanks,

--Rob
