Default Briggs /Sears Roebuck ID

Hello ,
Can anyone help tell me anything like year & model , ect of this engine . Shroud says Briggs & Stratton , tag says Sears , Roebuck , Mod.500.300181 , HP. is blank , Series 10 2 .It runs very good , rope start , is on a homemade butt buggie , with Hyd. drive I picked up . Thanks for any info , Dave

Your engine is a model B Briggs. It has 2 3/4HP.

yes the engine you have was builtby briggs&stratton the prefix 500.____ means it is a briggs. i have one with the same prefix on it mine came off a david dradley roto hoe. a brigg dealer should br able to tell you whit model it is
