Default I.H.C. LA and LB Valve Covers

Rick Rohrs just posted an add for valve covers for the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 HP I.H.C. LB engines. Correct me if I am wrong. The valve cover for the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 HP I.H.C. LA engines is smaller than for the 3 - 5 HP I.H.C. LA engine and the LB engines. But the valve cover for the 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 HP and the 3 - 5 HP I.H.C. LB engines is the same. Also the valve cover for the 3 - 5 HP I.H.C. LA engine is smaller than the one for the LB engines. At Portland show I sold a cover for an LA engine that I told the guy it was for a 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 HP LA engine. I think I might have been mistaken and it was for a 3 - 5 HP LA engine. If so and the fellow reads this message please contact me.

Charlie-All four valve covers are different. The LB covers are the same physical size the the 3-5 is cut out more so you would have a gap is put on a 1 1/2HP model. The LA covers are different sizes. Good Luck-Ed

Thanks a lot Ed. I have 2 covers for an LB. Guess I will take them to Cool Springs to see which engine they are for. See you there.
