Talking Japy, Type D, Série R, 6 CV, # 5409, day of birth unknown.

Hi from France,

64 y.o. german male, belgian nationality (not my fault), 6-language polyglot, balding, smokes (!), certified nutcase, has some mechanical skills and can swear at old mechanical contraptions in several languages. Lives in France, Charente dept. (16).

Ok, my neighbor, Daniel, discovered the aforementioned engine under a heap of of crap (said crap cannot be described without being very rude) in an old, partially collapsed barn.

This morning, we hauled the engine out and brought it to Daniel's home. Looks very complete, is not seized up but rocker cover and muffler are missing.

Will post pics if anyone can explain to me how to do it.

Would like to contact Johnny Nuttin from Marke in Belgium (ik spreek ook Westvlaams).

Engine might be restored this spring, if our wives allow it. (grrrmpff).

Looking for muffler and rocker cover.

Kindest regards,

Takeo.
