Default Hello from Vancouver Canada.

I recently came across a complete 1922 Stover and couldn't pass on it, then just yesterday found a NIB 1956 REO Trollabout, and also couldn't pass on it. My vice really is old woodworking machines but I have now ventured down a new road. This is a great site.

Wellcome to STAK, send me a private post and I will fill you in on what and who is in your hood. I also have a few Stovers and a Reo that still likes to mow my lawn.
Cheers Jim

Thumbs up Re: Hello from Vancouver Canada.

The trollabout is a rare find, as the factory recalled them and did not sanction their sale. I have heard of only 4 NIB of the type, in 50 years! Great find! The trollabout was sold as a kit to motorize a rowboat.. The engine itself, was a basic 45 degree REO cast iron mower engine, that did not have a governor. It used direct throttle.
