Default IH 6hp M

Hello from NC,

I have a 16 inch Meadows Gristmill and need a power source. We will process about 75 bushels of corn each year. So far I have been gravitating toward the IH 6hp M with a Wico EK mag. Dependability and spare parts availability a must. The mill is a 1929 model. My preference is to have an engine from that era. Suggestions?

Thanks,

HOBBS

Doesn't sound like you're trying to run the mill at full production, so the 6 M should do you fine on a 16". I pull a pre-1925 20" Meadows with a 6 M ignitor engine and she does fine as long as I don't over feed the corn.
Good luck,
Kevin
