Default New guy from Maryland

Hi, my name is Andrew. I've been restoring and repairing old engines for over two years. it all started when a neighbor was cleaning out her fathers house after he passed away. She didn't know what to do with everything, and told me I could take whatever I wanted. What i found was a 1950's Goodyear brand 3hp outboard, being a boat owner and fisherman, she gave it to me. With a little work i got it running and have been hooked eve since. Next thing you know, one outboard turned into many more. Since then I have also started collecting Maytags and o a few old Briggs. Last fall I restored
a Maytag 92, and it now runs a White Mountain ice cream freezer. The first time i made ice cream with it was for my son's birthday party, by request it now goes to all family functions. Looking thru the forums, it seems I could learn alot here, and the people seem very helpful.
