Default TV Star amongst us--King of Obsolete!

Well, I'll be! Am I the first to recognize this?

I really look forward to seeing more of "KOB's" adventures!

Congratulations!

How cool is that!
I am thrilled to see the King (one of our own) has got something real good going.
Good luck Joey...keep on truckin...can't wait to see ya on the tube!
If ya need a co-star I could be the Jack-Of-Junk

Joey will be keeping "Princess Xena" under wraps. You know how he feels about the boys in the neighborhood.

Who watched the premiere?

They've changed the internet viewing and I can't watch it since I don't have cable

No Joey so far. Just a lot of BS and "Drama". I hope they don't make him out to be something he isn't.

I want to see more of what it takes to really navigate under such conditions. I enjoy KOA's posts because that degree of cold is foreign to me.

At least (I hope), they don't have whiny Rick back with the blue mohawk.

The fake reality is quite annoying.

I think KoO is the real deal (self reliant and not afraid to take on the task--any task) and those movie/tv people will find all that hard to swallow. Anyway I really enjoy his posts both here and over on the CAT site, we need lots more like him in this world.

I enjoy KoO's thread posts. They're real and not staged or fakes like: Ice Road, Ax Men, Deadliest Catch, Myth Busters, American Pickers, Pawn Stars, Restorations etc. Some of those shows have ruined History and Discovery channels for me.
Keep it up, please!

KoO:

Now, don't let that-there TeeVee star stuff ruin 'ya. Remember that those fancy stretch limos don't get along we'll in snow, ice and deep ruts in the road.

Good luck finding a woman who'll put up with the "obsolete". Check to see if she's got grease under her fingernails and knows how to cuss before committing yourself. Good looks and cooking skills are optional.

Bev you hit the nail on head. That blue haired guys name and truckdriver should never be used in the same sentence. I have been driving off road including years out on the ice in the Arctic. It just burns my butt when I see that guy. I have to switch channels.

I enjoyed the first few seasons for the "methods" of coping with the cold and extreme conditions. Some of the cab "chat" was fun, but not what I see now. I hope your cab chats are much less dramatic and informative. I hope you had a safe season.

I'll just have to hear about it until they put the series on the internet without a "preferred provider" aka subscription.

Beth

I've quit watching those History & Discovery shows like Ice Road, Pickers, Pawn, Deadly Catch, Axe Men etc because it's the same old thing over and over. I'm even considering dropping cable and just get locals, but KoO should be great. Keep us posted & also on the lady you fetch!
