Default Hello from upstate New York

Long time lurker, finally registered with our recent purchase of a WW2 Onan genset. We're in upstate NY (Troy). Not really a "collector" per se, but we've got a fair bit of equipment powered by old engines:

Reasonably old:

- 3x PE-75 signal corps 2.5 kW generators (one fully functional, one running ZZ, two no-output alternators)
- Onan WC4-7.5S genset, WW2 manufacture date, Ford 2NY engine
- M38 Willys-made Jeep, head off at the moment, needs brakes/sheet metal
- Willys CJ2A parts Jeep, bought as a basket case
- Linemar live steam toy engine

Not really super old:

- 2x 1979 VW Rabbit Diesel (daily drivers!)
- 2x spare VW 1.6L IDI engines, to be rebuilt "sometime soon"
- 1969 Ford F600 dump truck, 391HD engine

One of them came with the carrying handles, which are absolutely the best means of moving them if you have to do it by hand! Planning on cutting some oak dowel for the other two. They're certainly tough, and seriously under-rated by the nameplate. Not much aside from the weight to dislike, but I may try belting a Hatz diesel up to the one lacking an engine.
