Default New from South America

Hi there! I´m from Uruguay and I just fall in love with old machinery. Last week I purchased a 2.5 hp Witte stationary engine and will start a tread as soon as I begin wrenching on it. My regular job is restoring old cars but never handled something this old. Will keep in touch!

Welcome aboard the Stak.

And welcome to the old engine hobby. I'm sure it will be your first of many.

Shouldn't be too hard to find a Stover engine down there as well, as they were shipped all over the world with quite a few of them going to South America.

Welcome!

I've often wondered what types of old engines would be found in other countries. Now I know there's at least one in Uruguay!
