I am writing in regard to my neighbor Floyd Loranz, he is restoring an old 1950's Mayrath Mobile Tractor and he is 97 years old and all he does is restore old tractors and lawn mowers, he would like any information on this old rare Mayrath tractor. He does not know anything about computers so I am relaying this message for him. He does not care if I give you his phone number, please respond.

This is a picture of my neighbor riding his restored Mayrath tractor, I can get a better picture of it if you would like.

The Mayrath tractor in the picture above is a "Standard" model. There were two models, the other was the Deluxe but it is my understanding you could have ordered the standard model with some parts from the Deluxe line, like the 2 seater. Kerry R.

This link has several pictures for you to look at:

Here's a few pix of my mayrath (believe it is a '49 or '50) with a plow attachment & wheel weights. By the way, has anyone seen a plow on the net anywhere? I haven't! Could this be the last one out there?

Those are neat tractors! Hope nobody takes this the wrong way, but the first time I saw one, I thought of a dune buggy or a little car more than a tractor. I think it is the front wheels. Not used to seeing them the same size as the front on tractors this size. Might be the wheels too. They're kinda spokey, for lack of a better term. Like I said, don't get offended, Iwould take on in a heartbeat!

Feel bad for that flat tire.

Are those stock rear wheels or army surplus jeep tires?

Hello Mayrath enthusiasts!
Does anyone have any information about what's a fair price for a Mayrath? I'm in Danbury, Connecticut, and need to liquidate our family farm estate. I need to find a good home and buyer for our cherished old Standard (tilt motor clutch type) Mayrath, but I have no idea where to start. (We have attachments with it, too! -- plow, snowplow, cultivator, disks, and sickle bar.) It hasn't been started in about 10 years, but was always a great machine back when we used it.

Russ, tried to send you a message earlier this pm, but think I messed up. My family purchased a new Deluxe Model in 1949 or 50, along with a plow, cultivator, and sickle bar mower. Later it was sold when we no longer needed it. Then a few years ago I aquired another Deluxe Mayrath in pretty good condition and all original including the tires and am looking for more implements. I am very interested in your tractor and implements. I hadn't been on this site for a couple of months due to the holidays, so just saw your thread. Please contact me at redtractors@verizon.net or 660-254-4366.

Hello, I'm a proud new owner of a standard mayrath mobile tractor. It came with five implements original chains and even a little original paint. Just wondering what I have?

The one in Danbury, CT is now in Illinois, quiet a story behind it also.
The one Mossman has is very similar in condition and implements though, been in his family for years. They are still out there in great condition.
