A friend has a Sattley with solid flywheels, and he wants to know the shade of green it should be. Can anyony help out? Wendels gives a number, but not a shade. It there a compairable paint other then DuPont? Also, does anyone know of a serial number list to date this engine? Thank you in advance!!

Mike,
This is original paint with a yellow pinstriping also original. Also scan of black & white advertisement from Alan King's book but showing the same pinstripng.

Hello Doug,
I have one of these engines and painted it with a color called brewster green
It is very close to the dupont color. Good running engine.

Doug, is there any other pinstripes anywhere else besides on the hopper? My friend said that he found traces of white of really faded yellow stripes on the flywheels. Thank You!

Mike, I have a 1 3/4 hp. with yellow strips on the outside edge of the flywheels. No other striping on it. Has yellow shield on hopper on right side, lettering is long gone. Nice running engine. Bob.

Mine has pinstriping like Dougs; no evidence of pinstriping on the flywheels. Has the faded yellow shield on the hopper too.
