Here in central PA, I left home and it was 36 and cloudy. I drove about a half hour east to the engine sale at Leola and it poured. Of course I did not have any rain gear because it was dry when I left home.

I stayed about a half hour, drove home and guess what. The sun is coming out.

It's really tempting to go back to thar sale. However, I have to pay for Christmas.

Last season at this time we had 2.1 inches of rain. Now we have eight times that. It's rained almost every day since right after xmas.

Working in the garage is next to impossible, as it requires long pants, shoes, and even a jacket! I can't wait for that "global warming" to kick in.

Cloudy, drizzly, windy here in San Diego. Like Rob said, we have about 4x normal rain this season so far. The ground hasn't been dry since late October, except for maybe about two weeks.

Unhappy Re: Weather

Here in the not sunny, not warm, sloppy Finger Lake Region of New York we have had snow, sleet, rain and a high temp of 35 degrees. First it is hot and then cold and next week they tell us it is going to get up to the low 50's on Weds. and Thurs. Can't win, but at least I don't have to go out side except to let the dog water the flowers to be. Dick

Mid 20's and heavy snow here in Eastern New Yawk. Actually we havent had much snow at all here this year. Normally we'd have 4 feet by now; today we got about 6 inches in 12 hrs. Looking foward to tropical conditions in Jacktown next weekend.

Here in north central MT, we've been known to have a little cold weather. It's -12 now & by next Wednesday, the weather guy says that we should have the lowest temps that we've seen in the last 10 to 15 yrs. Like - 25 or so for the highs. Well I have a warm shop to work in, & at least it beats having those pesky mosquitoes!! Charlie

Unhappy Re: Weather

Over the pond here it's rained constantly for days and the wind hasn't been below 40mph for days. it peaked at 90+mph friday night.

Still howling just now and lashing rain and forecast to continue for the next few days.

There's also been a few deaths and there are trucks blown over everywhere.

There are thousands without power with many towns and cities underwater.

The storm is also wreaking havoc across Europe.

We hardly see snow now, usually by this time of the year we've had a few good falls. We did have a dusting of snow on Christmas day but thats all. We seem to be getting more strong winds and constant heavy rain.
