Default F/M model T tank-cooled; water level?

Hope you all are getting through the winter storms OK.
I recently acquired a Fairbanks/Morse vertical model T which is tank-cooled. Could someone please give their recommendation as to the water level in the tank? It is thermo-syphoned. Thank you, Luke.
