I guess a pair beats my hand. I hauled a waterloo boy in my Dodge Caravan once. Kevin

Hahaha! Reminds me of a complete skid mounted 4-53 Detroit Diesel that I loaded into my "know-it-all" cousin-in-law`s VW van back in the 70`s. I offered to wait till he could get a real truck but he declined Saying that van was "industrial strength" and the weight was no problem" So I squeezed it thru the sliding side door as requested and he strapped it down about midway between the front and rear axles. It did look kinda cool back there. But by the time he got home the van had a permanent prominent pregnant kink about midway between those "industrial strength" front and rear axles. He had to jack up the middle just to be able to crowbar the side door open. Cousin smartened up and "un-in-lawed" him shortly after that. Never set eyes on him again.

Me and Jon tried to get him to put one more Hercules in that Honda but couldn't get him too Funny thing is that isn't the first time I loaded engines into Rex's little Honda, last year we put a 3 1/2HP Associated in there about 2 weeks after he bought the Honda

I remember several years ago some guys came a got mid sized Jones oilfield engine from us in a full sized van and we barely squezed it in there, man was that thing sittin on the ground and the tires were about flattened out amd they had about a 300 miles trip home Never did hear if they made it or not.

Exclamation Re: Soccer Mom engine load :D

Not so bad, on his Honeymoon in the Rocky Mountains my Dad got two Stovers & brought them back in the trunk of his Pontiac! Mom should have known then what she was in for!

undefinedReminds me of the time I put a 1929 FI Moto-Mower with the handle off, a spare FI and and FH engine in the back of my 1998 Beetle diesel with the seat folded down. She rode like a Caddy that day!
