have you noticed how all the oilers on ebay now are swing top?

Yep, Even the upside down sediment bowl was a rare purple glass engine oiler.
I emailed them and told them what it was but they ignored it. Now if I told them it was for a rare such and such worth a mint, I'll bet they would have posted the extra info in a hurry! Kevin

Did you see the two Lunkenhiemer Pet cocks the guy got from Home Depot?
I have new old stock on just about every pet cock and would be happy to get half of what he got for them. Ebay still can't figure it out.

If you look closely at the photo, you can see "Lunkenheimer" stamped on the handles. I believe he took them to Home Depot just to ask someone what size pipe thread they were. I don't think he was trying to fool anyone.

Well, Andrew, based on what oilers ARE bringing on Ebay I'd say they have it figured out pretty damn well.
Besides, if someone is bidding on a "swingtop" that ISN'T a "swingtop"............whose fault is that?
