Default Got any pics of "barn fresh" engine?

Hey I thought it'd be kinda neat if some of us posted some of the engine's that we've found on their orginal sites. Just like they were when they were left so many years ago. Here's a few of the one's I've come across I'd put up more but it takes to long for m to uploade them off my puter.

There's a engine in there somewhere the picture is side ways for some reason to so you need to put your puter screen on it's side to see it

This is in its original setting and it runs! Not even a door to pull it out through. Barn basement with a line shaft for sawing. Fifth generation farm - no hope to extract it. Will add more photos on the Gallery.

I'm with Craig on this one. If it could be bought, it can be extracted. No doubt about it! Way too nice to be hidden in a barn basement!

Ok lets see it runs and is on a fifth generation farm. I say it's staying with the farm. It's been there that long and probably has been tried to be bought before. I say it's part of the family now and isn't going anywhere any time soon.

Chase has it right.

By the way, that's the original battery box in front, complete with tools and coil.

The photos are on the Gallery now. I've blown my cover.

Hard to get too much fresher than this. It is my Boulton & Paul lighting plant which we removed from the original power house where it had been installed in 1928
