Question Galloway cart

Does anyone know how much value an original Galloway cart would add to a Galloway engine?

Last year at the LeSuer, Mn swap I looked at two originals that would have fit my 2 1/4hp Galloway. They were both around $160. I have seen originals for more. I ended up buying another original Galloway which was missing the rear casting and wheels. I got that for $35 and welded togeather a rear end that I made look close to the original shape of the Galloway casting (if you stand back and squint). If I am at an auction pricing engines in my head I usually add $100 to the price if the engine has a hommade trailer under it and $150 or more for original equipement. These are just some ideas numbers I use. I'm sure like anything else the value depends on the trailer brand, etc.

Well... I agree with Doug on the price of smaller trucks But if the engine is a large one they are more expensive. Carts for the 5 Hp and larger engines seem to go for the 400 to 600 $ Range. And a complete unmolested unit could be worth even more.
