A fellow wants me to get his Stover running and change the oil in it. I've got it running, but I don't know how much oil to put in it. The only thing I can come up with is that there is a petcock above the drain. Do I just open that until the oil starts coming out, then shut it? Thanks in advance. Thanks, Harry for this site,so we can get some help when we get ourselves in a jam.

TR Bailey, Youve have it exactly right, I pull the drain plug, tip the whole engine back to get it all out. replace the plug open the check plug and slowly add oil until it come out then plug and tighten. Good Luck, Jim
