We used a small Champion in our shop for more years than I know of~~~
It FINALLY wore out the rod journal after over (probably) 40 years of regular use. And I'd bet my Grandpa bought it USED at that. Don't hold your breath for information....if it has a piston (or two) the function is the same no matter WHAT make it is anyway.

Hello Randy

We also have a Champion Air Compressor, flat belt drive, and can find little to no data on it. If you come across any info, I sure would like to hear from you.

Are you a member of EDGE&TA #23 ?? FVAEA ?? Just wondering.

Jim

Now known as Champion Pneumatic and it is correct they are a part of Gardner Denver. They are a customer of mine. I was in there a couple of months ago. They had some displyas of older equipment. Contact information is:
Champion
1301 North Euclid Avenue
Princeton, IL 61356

Telephone: 815-875-3321

A portion of their company history,
Champion was founded March 19, 1919 by Fred and George Rayfield. The brothers were quick to take advantage of the rapidly expanding technology of the internal combustion engine. Early Champion innovations include the opposed piston compressor known as the ”Type K”, and the “Unimated” cylinder design combining an aluminum die casting for improved heat transfer and a cast-in iron sleeve for durability.
