Default 1.5 HP LB govenor linkage removal from crankcase to head ??

How do i get the govenor linkage out of a LB block that goes from the crankcase through the block to head.I want to take this piece out and not sure how to.Thanks in advance .Dale

You probably have it out by now. Looking at my parts engine you have to take the flywheel and side cover off to get the small governor linkage rod off the main shaft( the cotter keys are in the wrong direction to get them out from the small handhole on the rear of engine) that goes to the head and remove the rod from the rear through the handhole. Looking in the owners manual there is a couple bearings,spring, oil seal on the shaft also . Of course you'll want to take the head off to get that little linkage off ( one inch piece) that connects to the butterfly valve in the head. If you don't have an owners manual I would highly recommend buying one it has some good drawings and part numbers for all the optional equipment you may want to look for later.
