Default How do I delete my attachments?

I've been all over the site, but can't find out how to delete some of the earlier photos I posted. My space is full so I can't post any other images until this is done. Thanks all.

Robert,

I too am concerned about filling up my Attachment space and therefore sometimes don't post as many pictures to help others as I otherwise would.

I think that I will ask Harry that If I send him another membership donation would he give me additional space.

I sent a double donation last time because I had already been using the stak as a guest for 6 or 8 months and I thought that it was worth at least as much or more that a subscription to any magazine.

If other previously non paying users would belly up maybe Harry could afford to give those who contribute information more space for attachments.

The Archives are getting bigger every day and they supply a much needed information database for future reference.

I hate to see any attachments be deleted as a picture is definitly worth a thousand words. And some of the contributors aren't going to be around forever.

What do you think Harry?

And thanks again Harry for doing all of the hard lifting on this job.

Dick

5. Dick Welty 45 1.70 MB

Most popular downloads:

1. otto.JPG Spock 1,573
2. lastscan.jpg Gary Bahre 1,228
3. candystore.jpg John Hammink 1,161
4. Mvc-008s.jpg Chris Curtis 1,021
5. Gilbert Fox 2.JPG Steve Wright 987

Total Attachments 1,905
Disk Space Used 96.98 MB

Subscribers are allowed up to 6 Megabytes of attachment storage plus another 6 Megabytes of additional photo storage in the Gallery system.

We are fast approaching the time when a second server will needed in parallel with this one to handle the database. Are we up to it? I think there is a message here somewhere.

By the way quite a few of you have decided not to use your full name on the Stak. I have no way to identify you by first name or nick name so as to cross reference you for subscriber status.

Robt.,

Only Subscribers can delete attachments. Even then, we would rather that they didn't delete them except in the case where there are two or more on a post. this way, we don't leave orphan posts on line without the photo that goes with them. It would make poor reading for future onlookers.

I suspect that you might qualify for susbscriber as soon as we confirm who your are. So far, we have no last name, mis-matching email addresses and a different location.

Thanks Harry, your email to me and my reply square off my old email address and my location is the same. My 'back' donations will be on their way as soon I have some more $$ in my Paypal account. It would be a pity to delete images from the archives I agree. So the lesson is to only post what is necessary and to post the best image possible. Something we sometimes forget in the enthusiasm of the moment.

In addition to the almost 4 megs of space I have used here at Harry's I am hosting almost 14 megs of images and videos myself.
So..AGAIN..if you WANT to post pics at Lugs and Cleats or Tractor Talk but don't know how PLEASE send them to me and I will post them FOR you in your OWN gallery.
Good grief......even HARRY is asking for more pics......
