Zeke: Beautiful landscaping if I say so myself. Are they in your back yard, now .

The neighbors would kill me if my backyard looked like that. However I am going to pick them up and put them in my garage. Thanks for looking.

Nice to find them, but unfortunately, not all can be rescued.

i would go nuts if we had anything like that around here in eastern NC. That's like a goldmine for me! I'd have so much stuff to work on, i'd never die. There's plenty of good engines in there. I mean, if a guy can dig a Stickney out of it's grave in a river bed and restore it to like new, then surely those can be easily "brought out of retirement."

Wow, Harry!

Looks like somewhere between Montrose and Ouray in you-know-where.

Take care - Elden

Those look like the engines I lost a few years back. Yes, I'm sure of it! I'll come over and pick 'em up!

This is a lesson. Don't wait around and do it. A guy called me this morning as I was about to go get the engines and someone had taken them. At least I do have the F&J 1 1/2 HP Model NC which I was able to get in the trunk of the car about 2 weeks ago. O Well e learn.

HAY! cut it out! your making my mouth water!
wish i was that lucky to find a pile of engine like that! but ofcource living in the city, i might add against my will! finding something like that around here, for my chances are half of one in 1 million.
i done cleaned out some of the small engine dealers junk yards out though around here! not flywheeler's, just some old briggs's. i got a 40's clinton, a 1958 jacobsen and a 40's rocket reel mower by doing that! YEPEEE!!

Zeke, what happened? Did you say they sold to someone else or stolen? Maybe the owner got a better offer?

Zeke...I was bitten by the iron bug about a year ago so I'm no expert on make, model, year etc. But, I have been in the antique and auction business all my life as was my dad before me...now, a couple things I've learned...if an item has sat since the end of the civil war in a hedgerow, barn, attic etc. you may find it this morning.. you can bet your butt someone else will find it this afternoon...so if its an item that you know is a great find be honest,be fair, and be aggressive..and most important strike like LIGHTNING...
