Default How do you set an automatic grease cup?

I have an automatic grease cup on the rod of my 1.75hp associated chore boy. It has a flow adjust screw on the bottom of the cup. How is it supposed to be set?

Thanks,
Jamie

I like to set it with an opening through which you can BARELY see daylight.
IF you open it more, when you turn the nut the grease will just WOOSH into the bearing and that's that.
It'll go fast enough anyway but slower is better.
