I almost got a running stover for $400---I was $50 short, and the guy would not come down...hot Ek mag, rocker was cracked but brazed nicely...other than that, no C/B/W's...lot of original paint...

Ed,

I have a similar mixer that I bought about 12 years ago for $300.00. I felt that it was a very good deal at the time as the engine alone was worth that and the mixer was in very good condition for it's age (about 1937).

It also has a CT-2 Stover engine that ran well when I got It. I have not run it for about 10 years but it is covered by the metal inclosure and is covered in old oil and grease.

I believe it is an Essicks 1 sack mixer. This mixer has undoubtedly always been owned by homeowners or farmers because if it had been owned by a contractor the gears would show substancial wear and the tub would be beaten in by the laborers when they cleaned out the buildup that is common with that much use.

The mixer is in too good a condition to take the engine out of so I think I will restore the whole thing as it will be an easy restoration.
