Smile 3 hp FM Z ?'s

I'm not really not a Fairbanks person but I have ran across a very nice 3 hp with orig. kero mixer, and Sumter mag mounted on edge of crank case. It is a runner in it's work clothes. Everything looks like it's right but it does have an old head crack repair but done nicely. It could be touched with a grinder and be un-noticeable. 700 is the price but that seems to be about average or is that a good deal?

Sounds a little high to me. Good fairbanks engines can be had for a lot less. I think the plugocillator engines might bring that much though.

That's about what I figured. I'll leave it where it is. If anyone else is interested in it shoot me an e-mail and I'll give you the guys number and location. It's a good barn fresh one for somebody.
