Default Moto mower engines

I've got an engine that was tagged by the owner as Moto Mower Junior. What type of engines were used on these? Did any have a belt driven fan?
Was Briggs the only company used? I am talking pre 1930, and perhaps pre 1920.
Thanks for all responses.
Alan

Alan, 1929 was the first year for the Junior and it had a Mar-Tan fan cooled engine. In 1930 they used a briggs FHI,1931 a Briggs T, then H and Y Briggs through the rest of the 1930's until stopping with a Briggs WR6 in the early1940's. Hope this helps. John.

It may. Is the Mar Tan similar to a Briggs with the exposed rocker? The one I am workig on has EA33 cast into the rocker. Any chance of a picture? If you have an engine like this I would like to stay in contact. A brass plug on my engine has a patent date of 1913.
