Default Hello from Western Wisconsin

Hello all,
Just found this site while searching for info about a 1969 Onan driven Lincoln welder that I bought. (Not running of coarse, yet). It has been sitting for quite a few years and had the most foul smelling gas in it that I have ever encountered. Searching the posts was invaluable for researching what I have and what it needs to run again especially the fact that it needs 2 - 12 volt batteries connected in series to start it. I would have never figured that out on my own in a million years. I can't wait to hear that old Onan run.
Much thanks to the guys who post info about this old stuff.
I have about 30 or so small engines (most of them run) in various pieces of equipment like garden tractors, chain saws, weed whips, blowers, an old Ford skid loader and even my own stump grinder so there is never a shortage of things to fix.
