G'day from down under! I have been looking around and came accross Smokstack. I think with all the knowledge of you blokes you may be able to help me solve my dilemma. About 15 years ago I watched a movie on tv, it was set on the Prairey land of the US in the 1915 to 1920 period. I estimate the movie to be made about the 1970s. The great attraction to me was the thrashing rigs, about eight that arrived at the homestead. Most if not all were gas traction engines. I suspect these tractors belonged to early collectors and remain in preservation today. Im not sure but I think the movie title may be, 'It Must Be Heaven' from a line spoken in the movie. Robert.
