Default New here

I am new to this group. I am a retired ET/Enginering Spc, FF/EMT turned "farmer". My Bride and I rescue American Eskimo dogs, care for a small flock of chickens and a few S/N feral cats. My "top line" tractor is a 1950 Case VAC that is very healthy and loves the work. I was lead to this group by a search for an ID of a corn sheller that we purchased recently. We intend to shell the corn I am about to plant (small field) for the chickens when it is harvested.

Welcome! This is a great place to hang out. It does not matter if you are looking for something in particular or just killing time. I am a mechanical engineer from Maryland. We rescue shetland sheepdogs (Shelties). I have been fooling with these old engines for about seven or eight years now. If I can ever be of any help in any way do not hesitate to ask.
Good luck and welcome aboard.

Welcome to SmokStak!

Great idea planting your own corn to feed the chickens. Being self-sufficient is a must these days.
