hi all you smokestakers my names pikey and iv just bought my first engine its a 1920's bamford and this is how i feel about it

Welcome aboard, and congratulations on your 1st of many engines.... most people can't stop with just one.

Bamfords are a pretty nice engine. Kind of scarce over here in the States. Don't know how common they are over by you, but it's a good starting point.

gday pikey, sounds like youre very diseased as well . From memory we have a few bamfords out here and i think in world war two because of availability a company called bootmac made replicas.. all the best graeme
